On the eve of the historic Founding General Assembly of the African Democratic Alliance of Freedom and Progress (ADAFP), leaders and delegates from 16 African countries gathered in Casablanca for a day marked by solidarity, dialogue, and African liberal cooperation.
An evening reception was graciously hosted at the headquarters of the Constitutional Union in Casablanca, where delegates met with Party Secretary General Hon. Mohamed Joudar and senior members of the leadership. The meeting provided an important opportunity to exchange views on democratic governance, institutional reform, economic development, and the future of liberal and progressive movements across Africa.

Historic Launch of the African Democratic Alliance for Freedom and Progress (ADAFP)

A new chapter in Africa’s democratic transformation begins with the official founding of the African Democratic Alliance for Freedom and Progress (ADAFP).
This historic initiative brings together democratic, liberal, and progressive political forces, civic leaders, and organizations from across the continent around a shared vision: to build a free, prosperous, and just Africa.
The founding meeting of the ADAFP was held online on December 7, 2025, bringing together more than twenty political leaders and representatives from across Africa.
